There is a growing movement in early childhood education to integrate learning about nature in the outdoor setting. Thanks to the generosity and passion of Christa and Calvin W. Schmidt, Trinity Preschool opened the Nature Discovery Center with a ribbon cutting on Friday, May 3, 2013.
Each class will meet with Nature Explorer‛s Teacher, Autumn O‛Reilly, once per week to interact with natural materials, learn about the joys of nature, and spend time in a relaxed space designed to encourage exploration and discovery.
